Anyone know why the Oscars are called the Oscars? Not the Acadamy Awards?

Or why it is dubbed it?

Anyhow,
AMINOgd, or Amino Game Design, part of the inLogic umbrella, has developed [or I have developed, I’m the only employee] a game called ASEUG: RLH.

ASEUG actually stands for Another Shoot Em Up Game, which I hope the consumer wouldn’t notice and would pronounce like "ahseeyug"….
RLH is actually a bit better, standing for Run Like Heel with ‘Heel‘ spelled incorrectly.

It’s a pretty good game to be developed in the Visual Basic environment.
I mean, seriously.  In Visual Basic?

Anyhow, it’s a kind of shooting game.  You can’t move, and you’re shooting these square-headed guys.
This is a first at game design, guys.

I finally finished the <abbr title="testing stage of a software">BETA</abbr> version just a while ago.
I put in static life, which means you have 100-0 life, square guys attacking you [with invisible guns!  how real!] infinite bullets, pause, people killed counter, bullets used counter, a red thing that flashes when you are hit [covers the whole screen.  I think this gives an effect because you can’t shoot when you’re hit, right?   So here, you try to shoot, but you hit the red wall, for some reason.]

The gun you have has infinite bullets.

This version is the "Life Attack" version.
There is going to be a "Time Attack" version coming, with infinite life.

StumbleUpon is a kind of peer2peer network of users and sites.  People can go to a random site by clicking Stumble! and then they will be delivered to, of course, a random site.  Then, you can say that "I Like It!" or "Not For Me".  This will be put on the network and will be used to happily stumble some other people.

This is a great idea.  I’m already addicted to this thing!
I have 26 LikeIt’s.  This may seem low, but when you actually stumble, it is really tempting to look at the sites and actually read them.
